Minerals are an important part of our daily life and many items are produced with their help. The roads we cross, the buildings we live in, etc. are part of the things that would not be available to us without minerals. For example, they use asphalt for road construction, which is produced from a combination of bitumen and sand. Quartz:: Quartz crystals are very popular as gemstones. Quartz is used in making glass, paints, abrasives, precision measuring instruments, etc..


Gold:: Gold is used in dentistry and medicine, jewelry, coins and bullion. In addition, it is used for scientific and electronic instruments, computer circuits and as an electrolyte in many applications in the aerospace industry..
